Current road closures and diversions due to minor flooding

Minor flooding at Almaden Expressway/Coleman intersection – DOT has been pumping. Problem caused by a flap gate that is not operating properly due to silt and vegetation
Pumping operation underway at Coyote Creek, south of Charcot. Crews are pumping from a manhole into the creek because high water levels in the creek cause the flap gate to close
River Oaks Pump Station @ Guadalupe River. Crews on site to reset Flap gate manhole frame and rim. Minor flooding in the vicinity of the pump station
Canoas Creek @ Redbird – As a precautionary measure, DOT pump crews are deploying to set up a portable pump – per the established response plan for that particular location
Southbound 101 @ McKee/Alum Rock – CHP is using the SB off and on ramps at Alum Rock to detour traffic around the southbound flooding – perhaps the Caltrans pump station is falling behind with the volume of runoff
NB 880 to NB 280 – reports of shallow water ponding in roadway
State Route 130 (road to Mt. Hamilton) Roadway is closed due to rock and mud slides. These locations in the foothills
SB I 280 @ 7th Street minor flooding

All Storm Pump Stations are reported to be operating well –except for the issue noted above at River Oaks Pump Station
