Engineer Ruben Benavides as the first recipient of their annual
award "Best of the Best". Ruben was chosen by his peers
in Battalion 2 as "Firefighter of the Year". The Knights of Columbus honored him with a plaque at Station 2 and a dinner cooked by the "San Jose Job Corps on April 28, 2011. Congratulations Ruben.
