On September 11th the Oakland Athletics honored firefighters from the bay area during their firefighter appreciation night. Fire Chief Willie McDonald along with Trish Tapia, Mark Roberts, and Albert Hernandez were on the field during the pre game ceremonies. Our own Captain Doug Stewart was also recognized for his distinguished career by throwing out the first pitch. Everyone had a great time getting together before and during the game. This event meant that much more because of the significance of the date. Click on any picture to enlarge.
