Please welcome SJFD's newest solo dispatchers at fire communications. The training process to get to this point is approximately 10 - 11 months and began in September 2009. This includes becoming certified in Emergency Medical Dispatch and Emergency Fire Dispatch. The San Jose Fire Communications Division is an Accredited Center of Excellence for the Emergency Medical Dispatch Protocols and these three individuals will help assure that we continue to have the best dispatchers in the State.
